The Tamron 150-600mm is a lens compatible with both crop-sensor and full frame bodies and features VC (Vibration Compensation - roughly 3 stops), an ultrasonic focus motor for quiet AF operation, a moisture-sealed construction, and brand new eBAND (Extended Bandwidth & Angular-Dependency) lens coating to reduce flare and ghosting, in addition to a conventional BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating.
The lens weighs about 2kgs with the tripod collar.
